Check your site's Core Web Vitals scores

This tool checks your Core Web Vitals, the loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability scores Google uses to judge page experience, and shows you which pages need work first. An automated check can miss context, so treat a weak score as a starting point for a closer look rather than a final verdict.

How-To Guide

Core Web Vitals Checker: see how fast, responsive and stable your pages really are

Core Web Vitals are three measurements Google uses to judge what it's actually like to use one of your pages, covering how quickly the main content appears (Largest Contentful Paint, or LCP), how fast the page responds when someone taps or clicks (Interaction to Next Paint, or INP), and how much the page shifts about while it's still loading (Cumulative Layout Shift, or CLS). This checker runs all three against a web address you give it, so you can see which one is dragging a page down before you spend time or money sending people to it. It suits anyone with a live site and no developer on call, since each result comes with what it actually means for someone reading your page.

Best for: Small business owners and freelancers checking page speed before putting effort into promotion

  1. Enter your web address

Type in the address of the page you want to check and let the tool pull back its current Core Web Vitals scores.

  2. Read the three scores

Look at the result for each of the three measurements, since a page can score well on one and poorly on another.

  3. Work through the weakest score first

Start with whichever measurement is furthest from a good result, because a reading reflects one moment and one connection, so treat a borderline score as a prompt to look closer.

Core Web Vitals Checker

Enter a page URL and this tool calls the public PageSpeed Insights v5 API directly from your browser to read Google's real-user Core Web Vitals field data (Chrome UX Report) for that page: LCP, INP and CLS at the 75th percentile, checked against Google's official thresholds. There is no server, no API key and no third-party proxy involved beyond the direct call to Google's endpoint.

e.g. https://example.com/page

What this tool cannot do: it cannot run its own lab test or crawl the page itself, it only reads whatever real-user field data Google's Chrome UX Report already has for the URL you enter. It cannot show a lab-based Lighthouse score, a full diagnostics waterfall, or which specific pages on a site are failing beyond the one URL checked. If no field data exists for the exact page, it will say so and offer the origin-level (whole-site) figures instead of inventing a number. It is also subject to Google's rate limits for keyless requests, so occasional retries may be needed.

See how your website measures up on speed and stability

A Core Web Vitals check looks at how quickly a page loads, how soon it responds once someone taps or clicks, and whether the layout holds still while everything finishes loading. These are the same signals Google weighs when judging page experience, and a slow or jumpy page loses visitors long before it loses rankings. What you get back is a snapshot of that page at that moment, not a guarantee of how every visitor's device or connection will experience it.
